Description

Sometimes in institutions (and in every day community existence) people are tucked away in corners, forgotten about, reduced to a number...or beyond help due to institutionalization.
This photo speaks loudly of such a concept.
=JackSilver and I found this setting in an attic of what once was an administration building. It was beautifully disturbing. Empty containers that once held names, appointments, results, hopes, results and formulas to so many people's lives.
Our stories can all be placed in manila envelopes, labeling our levels of intelligence, our high achievements and downfalls, our histories and support systems, our coping mechanisms and triggers. Such containers resonate with the vibrations of human experience scribbled down on preset forms in blue or black ink during extreme moments of admission into such facilities.
It is beautiful to place myself in a position where I do not always require paper documents to read a person. Necessary sometimes for safety issues...but my occupation enables me to see past the information, deeper than the fibers of paper they resonate upon.

Resonated conversations of Meaningful interaction,
with a person
is perhaps encapsulated throughout time
in the stability of such metallic security cloaks
that define
our being in the pre and present moment
like the vibration of the first television broadcast that exists light years away.

Only when you experience will you realize the severity to act the best you can in the moment.

I think that in my manila folder somewhere someone can pencil in Cassandra E: Artist of auditory, visual, tactile, gestation senses. I really do not mean to be pretentious…but sometimes it takes a lot for me to outline positive achievements and milestones in my life. I think I am ready to push myself a little harder now that I realize what I am truly capable of. I am proud to be me.
