Hey DA!
I miss you!
Somehow I thought that I could handle 6 classes and two intensive part time jobs this school year. While I earned all A's and super positive reviews from the teachers I work with, it has honestly been really stressful to hold together. I have very little creative time for me.
I have been taking what little creative time I have and putting it into music: [link] I put up two tunes from last spring and one new one if you are interested in checking that business out. I know most of you are here for eye candy though! ha!
mmm....anyway... had a 'lil shoot last week and realized how much I do miss that expressive outlet. I can't wait until this school year is over, even though this semester has just begun. I will have so much more creative time after that. Watchout! Following May, I have only my final research project to complete... then I will be a master of music therapy :giggle:. I also miss time for crafty stuff. I have a new toy piano to decorate as well! so far, toodles (my first toy piano) has his own myspace under construction: [link] and will eventually consist of some dual toy piano compositions. Of course, there is a bit of toodles in one of my recent tunes. Anyway, you can stay tuned for that. or out of tuned :P

Oh yes! Happy Chinese new year everyone! I caught the sound of the dragon parade and the sight of fireworks from my window last night. I'll probably grab some photos of the encore next Sunday. :) Regardless, I have the strong urge to create resolutions for my heart today. I wish I could realize what they are. I certainly could use more time for creative self exploration and collaboration in a musical sense. We shall see what becomes of this. I certainly could use involvement in a musical community again. I miss the involvement and belonging of a culture. Since grad school I have felt mostly isolated in my reading and work.
Any suggestions welcome.
